Tasting Piedmont

The ICCIUK is proud to present a new online masterclass within the True Italian Taste project*, aimed at promoting authentic Italian products abroad.

The “Tasting Piedmont” masterclass, a wine & cheese tasting experience, will be guided by WSET** Educator Elena Barattini and will be addressed at operators of the food & drink sector in the United Kingdom.

During the tasting, guests will have the opportunity to discover:

  • Altalanga DOCG “Chaos” 2016 (sparkling) paired with Testun di Capra cheese;
  • Colli Torinesi DOC Timorasso “Miel” 2016 (white) paired with Montebore cheese;
  • Gattinara DOCG Riserva 2015 (red) paired with Grasso d’Alpe cheese;
  • Passito Valdernico (sweet) paired with Erborinato al Caffè cheese.

The objective of the event is to discover the True Italian Taste project, whilst discussing the importance of denominations and how these products are linked to their territory of origin.

Please note that places are limited and assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
