The M.O.R. Museum of Rackets

The M.O.R. Museum of Rackets was founded in Italy by Paolo Bertolino, a professional in the field who combines his work as a stringer with a deep passion for tennis. The racket collection began more than 20 years ago as a hobby and has grown over time through meticulous research in vintage markets and online, as well as through generous donations from enthusiasts across Europe. The museum was officially established on September 7, 2017, and has operated as a cultural association ever since. The collection is one of a kind—ranked among the six largest in the world—with over 1,400 unique rackets. The museum offers a journey through 145 years of tennis history, from its origins to the present day, showcasing the evolution of the racket through changing materials and technologies. Located in the heart of the Roero region, about 40 km from Turin, the museum is housed in a fully restored farmhouse in Baldissero d’Alba, a small town at the center of the Bra–Canale–Alba triangle. The museum is open to the public and offers guided tours by reservation.
A curated selection of rackets will be on display at the ITALIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN
LONDON highlighting both the early history of tennis and Wimbledon, along with a section dedicated
to the champions who have lifted the trophy the most times.
