“The Future of Cities” Panel Discussion

On the occasion of the London Design Festival, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK is pleased to invite you to the round table “The Future of Cities”, taking place on Wednesday 22nd September at 11:30am BST at our offices in 1 Princes Street, W1B 2AY London.

You are invited to attend this panel discussion on the future of city architecture, urban mobility, planning, cultural dialogue and public spaces, featuring our guest speakers:

  • Lisa Fairmaner, Head of the London Plan and Growth Strategies at the Greater London Authority;
  • Bruno Moser, Partner and Head of Urban Design at Foster + Partners;
  • Vicky Richardson, Head of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Arts and former Director of Architecture, Design and Fashion at the British Council.
  • Daniel Gava (moderator), Brand Strategy Advisor to the Architecture and Design Industry

The aim of the event is to debate about the future role of cities as well as to provide some information about future development and regeneration projects planned in London. At the end of the 45-minute round table, the participating architects, developers and Italian furniture brands will be invited to stay for an informal networking reception.

Proof of COVID status required:

Your health and safety are our biggest priorities. In line with latest government guidance, the ICCIUK has taken the decision to verify attendee COVID-19 status on arrival at the event. To gain access to the event, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival, OR
  • Proof of negative Lateral Flow Test result taken within 48hrs of arrival, OR
  • Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19 lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of self-isolation period.
