The ICCIUK is delighted to invite you to this insightful workshop organised in collaboration with our member Tecno International, the UK branch of Tecno ESG, a leading Italian organisation providing sustainability and ESG services to over 3600 SMEs.
The workshop is composed of two 25min interactive sessions:
Session 1 – The financial value of a sustainability strategy, Prof. Paolo Taticchi OMRI
In this interactive seminar, Professor Paolo Taticchi discusses three crucial issues contributing to the poor engagement of many businesses today: the lack of a common definition of sustainability; the failure of perceiving sustainability as a competitive driver; and the need for leaders to better understand the tools needed to drive change. Making the business case for business leaders, Paolo discusses the benefits companies stand to gain with a sustainability focused strategy, competitive advantage and financial performance being two key benefits. Paolo Taticchi is Professor at University College London and an Advisory Board Member of Tecno International and Tecno ESG.
Session 2 – Decarbonisation projects and sustainability reporting, Eng. Salvatore Amitrano
This session provides an overview of decarbonisation projects and sustainability reporting initiatives, two of the most popular sustainability actions companies implement these days. This session will cover the business case for this type of projects, an overview of what they involve and a discussion of the challenges and costs. Eng. Salvatore Amitrano is the Managing Director of Tecno International and CFO of Tecno ESG.
