On the 700 year anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death, the father of the Italian language and Italy’s greatest poet, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, is delighted to invite its Members to the screening of the film “Dante, per nostra fortuna” – “Dante, our luck”, kindly provided by our Patron member Belluzzo International.

The film, work of director and actor Massimiliano Finazzer Flory, tells the story of the Divine Comedy through the eyes of a child Dante, aged 9. A child who falls asleep reading Dante’s work, going through the nightmares of hell, or purgatory and finally dreaming of the experiences of paradise.

In 27 minutes, with 21 songs and contemporary dance, we follow the journey of the Divine Comedy through an experimental film.

The screening, taking place at the ICCIUK offices, will start at 6pm and it will be followed by a Q&A with the film director himself, Mr Finazzer Flory.
