7th World Week of Italian Cuisine (Scotland)

It’s World Week of Italian Cuisine time again and our Scotland Office wants to ensure that people have the opportunity to enjoy and celebrate the authentic Italian culinary tradition,

This year edition focuses on conviviality, sustainability and innovation. The Italian cuisine ingredients for the well-being of the people as well as the planet.

In collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the Consulate General of Italy in Scotland and Northern Ireland, our Scotland Office is pleased to present the programme for the week 14th – 20th November:

Wednesday 16th November 2022 – Glasgow

Masterclass dinner at our member Eusebi Deli with a special menu designed by the Chef Michele Di Bonito, who will be joining us from Italy on this occasion.

Thursday 17th November 2022 – Edinburgh

Standing canapé style event in conversation with the author Simonetta Agnello Hornby who will be attending illustrating her relationship with Sicilian culinary traditions and their central role played in her novels. The event will take place at our member Contini George Street where Victor Contini will be discussing seasonal ingredients celebrating Italian Scots sustainable heritage: featuring ingredients from Contini Kitchen Garden and produce imported from Italy.
