The focus of our magazine this edition is the luxury goods market which has seen sales growth in the UK for the period 2015 – 2019 by 30%, which is staggering in comparison to the struggle that our high street brands have had in the same period. It is good to see that Italian luxury brands still dominate this trend and I am confident this will continue for the years ahead. It is not only the more traditional Italian luxury brands that are enjoying success: Neapolitan start-up Epoché who produces high-end revolutionary watches have struggled to keep up with demand. They are also exploring the development of hybrid watches to keep up with the times – no pun intended. To read the full story turn to page 8.
