Alessandro has been a part of our Board for many years and has been especially pro-active with our Executive Committee bringing a wealth of experience and solid advice. Our team look forward to working with him and supporting his vision for the Chamber’s future. Our focus in this quarterly is Energy and the Environment, which is also the theme of our Annual Conference which returns for its 41st year and will be held on the 29th November at Church House, Westminster. It is a very topical subject and one which has allowed us to get a very high calibre panel. I would recommend that you save the date and join us for not only the very interesting conference but also for the enhanced networking opportunities. In October we will be opening the doors again to Welcome Italia, our festival dedicated to all food lovers who wish to discover excellent artisanal Italian food and beverages. We have some new features this year in our Cooking Theatre which will entertain our growing visitor numbers along with trade, influencers and members of the press. The show runs from the 18 – 20th October and details on how to get tickets can be found on the website www.welcome-italia.co.uk . I hope that we will see many of you at our regular events where you will also have the opportunity of meeting our new President who looks forward to hearing your views about our Chamber.
